The XFCE package/recipe isn't meta in the (our) true sense. We
currently have no mechanism for having a meta (our type) install
different components into different target, so I made a pseudo-meta
recipe, where I use our mechanism for installing dependencies to make
the XFCE require all needed components. It's on my to-do list (and in
the bug tracker) to implement this option for meta recipes, so we can
create similar "help" recipes/packages.

To update XFCE however, you need to issue NewVersion for each
component and for the XFCE recipe itself. Then you need to edit
/Files/LocalRecipes/XFCE/4.4.2/Resources/Dependencies by hand to
require the new versions of the included components.
